Overview

A lovely family of four in Queens is seeking a night newborn care specialist to start immediately and work for 10-12 weeks, assisting with their one-week-old baby. The schedule for this role will be five nights per week, 7pm-7am with some flexibility for the right candidate. The family is also open to a candidate who is only available for part of the contract, as they understand that it's a last minute request.

Responsibilities

• Sleep conditioning, with the goal of having baby sleeping through the night
• Implementing an effective sleep routine that the parents can follow once the term ends
• Prioritizing the safety and well-being of the baby at all times
• Providing practical tools to enable the parents to keep baby on schedule during the day, thus setting baby up for success at night
• Providing general support and assistance, where possible (given the nighttime schedule)

Qualifications

• Experience with sleep training
• At least 5 years' verifiable experience working in newborn care

Requirements

• US passport, Green Card or EAC 
• Able to commute daily to Queens
• COVID vaccinated and up to date on Flu/RSV/Tdap and MMR vaccinations
• Available to start immediately, with priority to candidates available for the full 10-12 week contract

Salary and Benefits

• $35/hr.
