Overview

A lovely family in Nashville is seeking a newborn care specialist for their sweet 5-month-old baby girl to start as soon as possible. The contract term will be approximately 6 weeks, with the option to extend. The family has a night NCS scheduled 7 days per week from 9pm to 6am. The night NCS' schedule is flexible depending on the hours needed for this role. This is a 7 day per week, live-in position with days/time off based on the family's needs. The average schedule will be from 6am to 9pm Monday to Sunday. The family is willing to work with the candidate if more or less hours are required. This role is open to local and non-local candidates.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizing the safety and well-being of the baby at all times
• Providing practical tools to enable the parents to keep baby on schedule during the day
• Preparing purees when it's time to start introducing foods
• Working with night NCS to ensure cohesiveness of care
• Engage baby during the day and encourage development through age-appropriate activities
• Take the baby out for strolls and outdoor time
• Accompany the family on travel, pack, unpack and set-up for care in a new environment
• Provide recommendations on items for the nursery and baby
• Provide suggestions for baby care and daily routine and carry out parent's preferences
• Full-charge care 
• Light housekeeping related to baby and oneself

Qualifications

• A minimum of at least 5 years' verifiable experience working as a newborn care specialist
• Excellent communicator
• Strong stamina
• Flexibility with last minute schedule changes
• Ability to work collaboratively with parents

Requirements

• US passport, Green Card, or EAC
• COVID vaccinated and up to date on Flu/RSV/Tdap and MMR
• Passport ready and willing to travel domestically or internationally
• Available to start ASAP

Salary and Benefits
