Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Storage Manager to lead the operations of our state-of-the-art storage facility. The Storage Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the facility, delivering unparalleled customer service, and upholding industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all facets of the storage facility operations, including leasing, maintenance, and customer service, in adherence to current industry standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and needs promptly and professionally.
- Conduct regular property inspections to uphold cleanliness, safety, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Effectively manage tenant inquiries, complaints, and conflicts with a focus on conflict resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Utilize strategic upselling techniques to optimize revenue and maximize occupancy rates.
- Collaborate with vendors to coordinate property maintenance and repairs, ensuring the facility remains in top condition at all times.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of rental agreements, payments, and other pertinent information.
- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to schedule and monitor maintenance activities efficiently.
- Assist with property leasing activities, including conducting tours, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements.
Skills:
- Proficient in conflict management, with the ability to handle tenant conflicts and resolve issues effectively.
- Knowledgeable in property maintenance practices, able to oversee and coordinate maintenance tasks as required.
- Strong upselling skills, capable of identifying opportunities to promote additional storage units or services to customers.
- Excellent sales abilities to effectively market the storage facility and secure new tenants.
- Understanding of facilities management principles to ensure optimal maintenance of the storage facility.
- Skilled in data entry tasks to maintain accurate tenant records and inventory tracking.
- Experience with CMMS software for scheduling and tracking maintenance activities.
- Knowledge of real estate administrative tasks, including lease agreements and tenant applications.
- Previous experience in property leasing activities, including conducting tours and processing applications.
