Bristol Alliance of Companies, LLC is Hiring a CIVIL ENGINEER II Near Anchorage, AK

Bristol Engineering Services Corporation, LLC is seeking a qualified Civil Engineer II in our Anchorage, AK office. The incumbent will apply broad knowledge of principles and practices in a specific practice area, manage day-to-day activities on small and moderately sized projects, design a complete project, and prepare complete project documents.

Major Responsibilities

Minimum Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree in engineering. Passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam. Three years recent experience in Civil Engineering.

Required Knowledge or Skills

  • Ability to gather and analyze data, reason logically and creatively, draw conclusions and make appropriate.
  • Basic understanding of the design process and proficient in modeling
  • Ability to prioritize and organize, work well under stress, meet
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to constant
  • Ability to work flexible hours as required to meet
  • Ability to facilitate public meetings (public speaking).
  • Strong interpersonal skills to assist and communicate with other staff and occasionally clients and contractors.
  • Strong Excel, Word, and AutoCAD
  • Willingness and ability to travel and perform field work away from direct
  • Willingness and ability to travel to remote locations in adverse arctic weather
  • Ability to perform tasks in a safe and responsible

Preferred Knowledge or Skills

Ability and willingness to perform field work in remote locations for extended durations (10%). Proficient with software tools: AutoCAD, word, excel, etc. (15%).

Physical Demands

  • Light physical
