Bristol Engineering Services Corporation, LLC is seeking a qualified Civil Engineer II in our Anchorage, AK office. The incumbent will apply broad knowledge of principles and practices in a specific practice area, manage day-to-day activities on small and moderately sized projects, design a complete project, and prepare complete project documents.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering. Passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam. Three years recent experience in Civil Engineering.
Preferred Knowledge or Skills
Communicates clearly both orally and written (20%). Reliability: completes tasks within allotted budget/time (20%).
Technical abilities: Applies problem solving independently, uses valid reasoning, pays close attention to detail, determines correct solutions, and follows directions accurately (20%).
Ability and willingness to perform field work in remote locations for extended durations (10%). Proficient with software tools: AutoCAD, word, excel, etc. (15%).
Understands and follows Bristol’s company goals and standard operating procedures (5%). Safety (5%).
Promotes a positive attitude / works well with others (5%).
