As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring the smooth flow of inventory and overseeing the warehouse staff. Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with installation manager and salesperson to prepare materials for jobs 
  • Order material and maintain adequate stock in the warehouse and on the trucks 
  • Conduct physical inventory on a monthly basis 
  • Ensure all materials and equipment for jobs are ordered and in the warehouse prior to the job installation date 
  • Ensure all jobs are pulled for the required date 
  • Ensure installers have the necessary materials for jobs 
  • Enter job sheets, material take-off sheets, and material used per job in the computer 
  • Invoice job sheets in the computer to take products out of stock 
  • Order equipment benchmarked to supplier price book 
  • Perform maintenance on vehicles 
  • Answer phones when needed 
  • Receive purchase orders 
  • Check pricing on purchase orders and update admin with price increases and/or changes.
  • Communicate with suppliers and check in on products.
  • Handle all warranty returns and track supplier credits. Enforce warranty process 
  • Fulfill other tasks as requested by the Operations Manager and CEO.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must have the ability to work independently and be detail-oriented.
  • Proficiency in accurately entering information into the computer.
  • Excellent communication skills are necessary to represent the company professionally with customers, vendors, staff, and the general public.
  • A valid driver's license and a good driving record are mandatory for this position.
  • Adaptability is crucial, as the individual must be able to manage competing demands and deal with frequent changes or unexpected events.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to attend classes paid for by the company is a requirement.
  • Ability to make decisions and prioritize tasks efficiently to promote company productivity.
  • The candidate should be a self-starter and take charge in situations to ensure the company's mission is upheld.
  • The position involves working in both office and warehouse environments and may require occasional travel to meet customers or vendors.
  • The physical demands of the position are heavy, requiring the ability to lift/carry items up to 50 lbs.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Full-Time position
  • Salary at $15.00 - $18.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday. 8 - 10 hours shift.
  • 401K with a 3% match
  • Paid Time Off
