Job Title Industrial Engineer Job Description Duties/Responsibilities: · Work in sites to drive out cost through process improvements and documented standard work instructions. · Designs, redesigns, or enhances work areas and layouts with respect for ergonomics and waste elimination. · Maintains knowledge of best practices in manufacturing methods, and trends and developments in technology and equipment · Works in conjunction with our Lean Team to improve process flow. · Develops and maintains management information, planning, and control systems. · Implements methods and modifications to reduce production costs. · Performs time studies to level load the manufacturing process. · Implements PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis) mindset and process for our operations. · Works across the organization to solve problems related to process outputs. · Develops, implements, and communicates best practices. · Familiar with problem solving methods, such as DMAIC, A3, 5-Why etc. · Performs other duties as assigned. Must be versed in problem solving and constraint management.
