Role: Network Engineer

Years of Experience: 10 years

Travel Required: Yes

Location: Remote

As a consultant within the DI team, you will work with our clients to define their digital strategy and execution roadmap, and design and implement differentiated digital solutions to help deliver measurable value.

Your responsibilities in this role will include:

·Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)

·Configure and install software, servers, routers, and other network devices

·Monitor network performance and integrity

·Resolve issues tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructure

·Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness

·Mentor team members on technical issues

·Create, oversee, and test security measures (e.g. access authentication and disaster recovery)

·Communicate with users when needed

·Maintain complete technical documentation

·Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability

·Requirements:

·Industry-related experience

·Extensive experience in cloud network engineering (Azure , GCP, OCI, AWS)

·Solid background in network administration and architecture

·Experience creating/implementing/troubleshooting cloud networks/infrastructure

·Experience setup cloud environments for applications and web services to function

·Experience building and baselining infrastructure specific objects in cloud environments to build consistent cloud tenants using best practice techniques for multiple cloud providers (Azure , GCP, OCI, AWS)

·In-depth understanding of communication protocols and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF)

·Familiarity with access control models and network security

·Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools (e.g., SolarWinds network tools)

·In depth understanding of network operating systems (Cisco IOS, JUNOS, )

·Sharp troubleshooting skills

·Ability to work independently

·Organizational and mentoring skills

·Expert understanding of IPSEC and other types of VPN

·Experience with Palo Alto

·Experience with Fortinet and Cisco ASA/Firepower

·Understanding of routers, switches, and firewalls.

·Solid troubleshooting skills

·Solid Linux OS experience

·Strong customer service skills and attention to detail
