Role: EPIC Developer
Years of Experience: 7 years
Location: St. Louis, MO/Remote
Brillio is looking for skilled EPIC Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EPIC software development and implementation, with a focus on creating customized solutions to meet the needs of our organization. The EPIC Developer will collaborate with various stakeholders to design, develop, test, and implement EPIC applications, ensuring they are efficient, reliable, and user-friendly.
Your responsibilities in this role will include:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the EPIC framework.
Design, develop, and implement EPIC applications, modules, and workflows according to project requirements.
Customize EPIC software to meet the specific needs of our organization, including configuration, scripting, and integration with other systems.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, and quality assurance to ensure the reliability and performance of EPIC applications.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for EPIC applications, resolving issues in a timely manner.
Document technical specifications, configurations, and procedures related to EPIC development and implementation.
Stay up-to-date with EPIC software updates, new features, and best practices to continuously improve our systems and processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinicians, IT professionals, and project managers, to ensure successful EPIC implementations and integrations.
Participate in training sessions and knowledge sharing activities to promote the effective use of EPIC software across the organization.
Adhere to HIPAA regulations and other relevant compliance standards in all aspects of EPIC development and implementation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Certified EPIC Developer (CED) certification preferred.
Proven experience in EPIC software development, configuration, and implementation.
Proficiency in EPIC modules such as MyChart, EpicCare Ambulatory, EpicCare Inpatient, etc.
Strong knowledge of EPIC integration tools, including HL7, Web Services, and API integration.
Experience with EPIC Clarity database and reporting tools is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements.

Good communication skills, Analytical & Problem-Solving skills
