Job Description:

The Instructional Program Developer will be responsible for curriculum development of scientific educational programs and materials, as well as, assessing the program effectiveness and impact on the Office's staff base knowledge and work products. Tasks include:

• Utilize the learning framework that has been developed to create new training courses for staff within the office
• Work with Subject Matter Experts to outline, story-board, and record training courses

• Project Management of each learning course to include identifying learning objectives, development of course content, and knowledge checks

• Coordination of courses included in the employee learning management system to include further development of the platform, upload and management of courses, and employee learning engagement

• Evaluate current methods and develop innovative scientific educational and learning programs and resources to build the foundational knowledge that safety evaluators will need to evaluate regulated drug products.
• Build resources to provide the foundational knowledge that safety evaluators will need to evaluate regulated drug products.
• Design and implement new learning programs for employees, including self-paced learning programs and/or remote learning programs
• Demonstrate the effectiveness of a newly implemented learning program (e.g., virtual learning program or self-paced learning program)
• Update existing office training or learning checklists to enhance access and functionality through digital delivery
• Create new training or learning checklists with enhanced access and functionality through digital delivery
• Evaluate the satisfaction of employees in reaching educational objectives and using learning tools, including digital learning tools
• Other duties as assigned by the Division

Experience:

Minimum Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience.

• Master’s in education preferred with a background in health sciences, or equivalent experience in the principles and methods for curriculum and training design and the management of educational programs
• Individual with a healthcare background (e.g., nurse, pharmacist) that has been credentialed as a health educator.

• Experience with Captivate is a plus

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced functionality with excel and designing presentations in PowerPoint and recording course content
• Proficiency with SharePoint Online including creation of pages and sites

• Project Management experience/background
