Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist
Responsibilities:
Quality Control / Assurance position is structured within the National Transportation Vetting Center (NTVC) within the Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) Office of Intelligence and Analysis (IA). The objective of this position, in cooperation with the balance of the NTVC QA/QC Integrated Project team (IPT), is to elevate the overall quality and effectiveness of NTVC operational performance.
Perform Data Integrity Checks by Checking Scorecard Mid and End of Month prior to Data Pull
Pull Monthly NTVC Scorecard Data into Databases for further Analysis
Publish Monthly Contractor and Branch Manager Reports
Analyze collected data and metrics to identify and report operational performance trends (improving, degrading), and also performance improvement opportunities within the NTVC operational team. Communicate such opportunities to Senior Leadership
Collaborate with the Training team to develop and implement learning tools targeted at improvement opportunities in order to elevate overall NTVC operational performance.
Develop NTVC QA operational performance dashboards from which NTVC leadership can quickly assimilate system strengths, weaknesses, and performance trends at monthly metric briefings.
Identify and implement methodologies to increase the sampling size of NTVC QA/QC operational performance data.
Author new and / or edit existing policies and procedures such that they accurately reflect the current state of NTVC systems at all times.
Perform special audits and scorecard analysis for VAD Leadership across all branches of NTVC
Document Job Aids for QA Team activities
Identify qualities issues and recommend solutions to mitigate defects
Establish Key Metrics to improve the program
Develop and implement a new knowledge assessment questionnaire.
Consistently reach out to NTVC stakeholders to foster “continuous improvement” in the execution of the NTVC mission.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree 7 years of professional experience.
7 Experience and broad knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Products with specific experience with Microsoft Operating System, SharePoint, Exchange, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word
Knowledge of and experience in assessing compliance for systems relative to customer and industry best practices.
