What You Will Do:

As an Intelligent Automation Engineer (Seasonal Temp), you carry experience in intelligent document processing (IDP), robotic process automation (RPA), and coding in support of IA solutions.

The IA Engineer will implement IDP and RPA solutions for federal government clients using agile Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) best practices. The selected candidate must possess expertise in solution design, process definition, and testing. The ability to evaluate existing business process for automation suitability and innovate/develop concepts or visions through implementation and execution is critical. Consistent with a senior position, nearly complete autonomy is expected, with reasoned judgment, experience, and ability in forward planning, strategic thinking, problem solving, synergy identification, and decision making in a highly visible, time-sensitive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support of the IA end-to-end delivery lifecycle, including post-deployment support for attended and unattended automations
  • Create a framework to enable suitability assessment of any use cases in a consistent and structured manner.
  • Use process reengineering techniques for operational process optimization.
  • Identify and document process flows and business rules.
  • Design, development, testing and deployment.
  • Support logging, monitoring, and auditing process and reporting.
  • Provide proof-of-concepts and document results and recommendations
  • Create prototypes and client demos.
  • Support operational environment.
  • Identify and document procedures for automation credentialing.
  • Stakeholder management, communications, briefings, issue resolution.

Required Qualifications:

  • BA or BS degree
  • Experience with IDP and RPA software, preferably Hyperscience, Automation Anywhere, and UiPath advanced certifications.
  • Past participation in agile/scrum SDLC implementation.
  • Experience with a scripting language such as Python, JavaScript, VBScript, and VBA.
  • Must have strong written and verbal English language skills.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working directly with government customers

Equipment Operated: Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.

Work Environment: Work performed in an office environment. Involves frequent contact with staff and customers.

Mental/Physical Requirements: Manual dexterity for office machine operation; stooping, bending to handle files and supplies, mobility to complete errands or deliveries. Must be able to remain in stationary position for extended periods of time. Stress can be triggered by multiple demands and deadlines.
