‪Job Description:

The Spanish immersion summer teacher position is an opportunity for a dynamic teacher to take part in a dynamic summer camp extravaganza serving children grades K-6. The camp is located in Mableton, GA.

Training will be provided prior to the start of camp. Reliable transportation is a must in order to travel to the camp location. Employment is contingent upon clean background check (no exceptions).

‪‪Duties:

• teach and facilitate language learning activities for the students
• assist with student check-in and dismissal
• follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times

‪Schedule and Locations:

• ‪Mableton, GA
• July 8-26; Training July 3
• * Teachers will work between 15-40 hours per week during the weeks camp is offered (part-time and full-time schedules available)

‪Minimum Qualifications:

• fluent in Spanish and English; able to deliver immersion-style instruction 100% in Spanish
• enjoy working with kids
• able to pass U.S. state and national background check
• prior experience teaching language

* prior experience teaching young children

‪Preferred Qualifications: (not required, but a strong plus)

• have completed at least one year of college
• knowledge of communicative and/or task-based language teaching
• comfort with technology for office tasks
• comfort with educational technology

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
