Retail Associate - Garden Center
Seasonal Position

Brigiotta's Greenhouse & Garden Center in Celoron, NY is looking for retail associates to join our team. We are located on 375 East Livingston Avenue. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and engaged who enjoys working outdoors.

Full and part time customer service-oriented position in Garden Center.

Multiple shifts available.

Looking for friendly team members who enjoy interacting with loyal customers in their community. Previous cash register experience preferred, but not required. Associates work in our greenhouse and garden center caring for plants, loading and unloading trucks, assisting customers and cashing out customers.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers by greeting them and offering them assistance.
• Direct customers by giving escorting them to where plants are located within the garden center
• Advise customers by providing information on plants.
• Process payments by totaling purchases; process checks, cash, and store or other credit cards.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Use judgment to solve customer problems.
• Maintain scheduling commitments
• Knowledge of inventory and prices

• Excellent verbal skills
• Able to problem solve as issues arise
• Enjoy working outdoors

Starting date would be the end of April.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
