We are currently hiring *a* ***Chef*** to provide exceptional dining experiences for our Residents.

**As a *Chef*, you will:**

* Prepare meals for residents, family members, guests and associates

* Utilize healthy ingredients in meals in a manner that optimizes nutrition and enhances the dining experience

* You will have the opportunity to adjust or adapt recipes to accommodate specific dietary needs and special requests, whenever possible

* Cook and prepare menus for special events at the community

* Assist with supervision of the cooks and utility associates.

**Key Qualifications:**

* Five years of food preparation experience in a high volume kitchen,

* Previous and successful supervisory experience

* Knowledge of proper food handling, storage, and safety protocols and regulations,

* The ability to read, write, and follow directions in a recipe,

* Previous experience and demonstrated interest in working with seniors will be strongly considered,

* Safe Serve certification
