The Activities Directorat a Brightview Senior Living community is a fabulously fun individual who has an immediate and sustained goal of shaping and fostering a spirit of vibrant living in the community! In fact, this position is so focused on motivating, encouraging and ensuring that all of our residents live their fullest life possible, that it officially carries the title of Vibrant Living Director.

We are currently looking for a Vibrant Living Director to oversee our activities and programming at Brightview Country Club Heights in Woburn, MA. 

What will you get to do as the Vibrant Living Director?

• Design a variety of activities and programs to engage residents.
• Deliver high quality and vibrant social, physical, educational and spiritual activities and programs for all residents.
• Maintain a calendar of events and community happenings to increase awareness of programs.
• Personally lead activities.
• Engage and manage and coach a team of activity assistants (Vibrant Living Assistants) to utilize their skills for innovation and assistance with programs and activities.
• Partner with vendors to provide new and enriching experiences at Brightview.
• Monitor trends and new developments in senior living and related fields and to support the development and execution of robust, varied, and meaningful programs. 
• Share strategies and best practices with fellow Vibrant Living Directors.
• Serve as a project manager for company-wide initiatives and wellness initiatives.
• Utilize tools to measure resident participation and satisfaction.
• Have fun! This is a critical role within the Brightview community leadership team, and allows for the opportunity to create a dramatic and positive impact on our residents’ ability to live an active, vibrant life!

We'd love to have you on our team because you have:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a field that lends itself to the support of vibrant living in a senior environment.
• 3 years of experience in a high energy, public role, three of which are in a leadership/supervisory capacity; preferred experience includes event or activities planning, sales, and/or training.
• The ability to think creatively and influence others. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Social media and more!
• The ability to apply logic, reasoning and creative thinking to your job. 
• The ability to manage projects and to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Very strong customer service skills.
• A positive attitude, enthusiasm and energy.
