Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Maynardville, TN

Maintenance Technician -

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the prompt and efficient performance of all tasks assigned by the Community Manager, including but not limited to maintaining the physical condition of the community from both a preventative and corrective standpoint. Plumbing, wall-patching, electrical and painting experience a plus. The work environment varies and will include working both inside apartments and amenity areas as well as outside of the buildings.

We offer employees specials for an apartment the technician can reside in.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Ensure residents are provided a clean, well-maintained community
  • Complete service requests. Service requests often involve plumbing, minor appliance repair, electrical, HVAC, and everyday routine maintenance of the interior of apartment homes and building exteriors
  • Grounds keeping tasks including removing litter and debris to promote an excellent curb appeal, and other tasks as needed to maintain grounds and building exteriors
  • Must provide excellent customer service to residents, and work well with the management companies other employees.
  • Problem-solving skills are required to effectively manage the day-to-day tasks required by the community; the maintenance technician must be able to think “outside the box”
  • Good communication and organizational skills required
  • Must have a valid driver's license, proper automobile liability insurance, and dependable transportation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Maintenance: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Required)
