BrightStar Care is Hiring a Recruiter Near Pearland, TX

BrightStar Care of Friendswood/Bellaire/Bunker Hill is looking for an experienced Recruiter to assist us with our staffing needs. As an award-winning home health agency, we provide in-home care to clients in the metropolitan Houston area. Our need for staff far exceeds our current staff levels and we are looking for an experienced Recruiter to lead the effort to grow our team and our agency.
What We Offer:
  • Compensation of $50,000-$54,000 per year. Initial contract period will be for 6 months. The right candidate will be considered for a full-time position. Insurance and benefits will be provided for the contract period.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position.
  • Efficiently and effectively fill open positions.
  • Utilize the Internet for recruitment. This includes posting positions to appropriate Internet sources; research new ways of using the Internet for recruitment; use social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates.
  • Maintain regular contact with possible future candidates.
  • Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements.
  • Conduct prescreening interviews.
  • Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the CRM and Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Performing reference and background checks for potential employees.
  • Assist in preparing and sending new employee orientation packages and on-boarding new hires.
Requirements
  • A bachelor’s degree is required or equivalent experience with a high school diploma
  • Experience with recruiting, healthcare recruiting a plus.
  • General knowledge of various employment laws and practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Skills in database management and record keeping.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • One to two years of human resources experience required; one to two years of recruiting experience preferred.
