Our wonderful elderly clients living in Union County need your help!

The following is required for this position:

• Must have an active NJ CHHA license
• Must drive - valid driver's license & reliable personal vehicle
• Willing to travel to clients living anywhere in Union County
• Ability to pass a background check & drug screening
• Must be passionate about helping others and working with the elderly population
• At least 1 year of professional experience caring for the elderly

Responsibilities:

• Assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing, ambulation, and transfers
• Accompany clients to the grocery store, doctor appointments and pharmacy visits
• Assisting client with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care, and documenting observed changes to the Director of Nursing

Requirements:

• Valid New Jersey CHHA license in good standing
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid CPR Certificate or willing to get one
• Negative drug screen and clear background check
• Driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and communicate effectively
• Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
