BrightStar Care Brunswick & Princeton is seeking Per-Diem Registered Nurses to join our caregiving team to assist patients in their homes. We are looking for a Nurse who can perform skilled services including Infusion, wound care/vac, and post-surgical care such as managing drains and tubes. Depending on your availability, and experience, you will also have a chance to work on patient assessments/case management.

Looking for Per Diem/Part-time RN for cases throughout the Southern Middlesex, Somerset, and Mercer county area. You will be resposible for providing nursing services and providing trust and confidence in care within your geogrohical area of preference,

Requirements:

• Current unrestricted RN license in the state of New Jersey
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Wound care, infusion, post-surgical care experience is preferred
• Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Minimum one (1) year of documented experience required
• Possess Nursing assessment skills
• Analytic/Critical thinker.
• Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance
• Reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice
• Perform procedures per physicians's order (infusion, drains, blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients’ charts
• Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders
• Maintain reports and charts in the system
• Corodinate with office staff to ensure that communications and hand offs are done in a systematic manner.
