As a Private Duty Nurse, you will be responsible for providing personalized and compassionate care to patients in their homes. Your duties will include:

-Knowledge and experience with trachs, vents, g-tubes is helpful with possible critical care or hospital work

- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
- Assisting with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Providing wound care and dressing changes
-May perform venipuncture for blood draws and lab tests
- Assisting with medical procedures such as spinal taps or family planning services
- Documenting patient information accurately and maintaining medical records
- Following all safety protocols and maintaining infection control standards
- Adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

- critical care experience
- Strong caregiving skills with a focus on patient comfort and well-being
- Knowledge of family planning services and related procedures
- Familiarity with electronic charting
- Understanding of healthcare standards and best practices
