Position Details

The Infusion Registered Nurse will report directly to the Director of Nursing. Primary responsibilities of this position are to provide assessments, care planning, evaluation and education of patients receiving infusion therapy in a home setting. Typical assignments include clinical/drug trials and care for patients that are in need of in-home infusions. You will manage your patients throughout the duration of their care and regularly evaluates patient’s progress, in collaboration with team members.

Schedule:

• Flexible scheduling
• Ability to work nights and weekends

Responsibilities:

• Make the initial evaluation visit and regularly re-evaluate the client's nursing needs
• Initiates a plan of care making necessary revisions
• Prepares clinical and progress notes and summaries of care
• Ensure proper and safe administration and storage of medications.
• Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws

Requirements:

• RN Degree
• IV & PICC line management Port (Med-Ports) skills
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience with background in infusion therapy
• Current nursing license for applicable state
• Experience in care/visit notes & re-assessments
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
