• As a core member of the agency’s leadership team, you get to drive objectives, and processes to ensure the highest quality care and support.
• Conduct client evaluations, create plans of care, and assure excellent care coordination.
• Supervise, train and coach field staff.
• Provide direct patient care as a back-up to field nursing staff.
• Serve as chief compliance officer and oversee proper maintenance of clinical records and reports.

RN DON/DPCS QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Current unrestricted RN license in California.
• Eight (8) or more years of clinical experience, with at least two (2) years in a home health agency, primary care clinic or health facility.
• Exceptional skills in nursing evaluations and case management.
• Clinical proficiency with med mgmt, infusions, IV starts, lab draws, level 1-2 wound care, and infection control. Ability to train nurses in these skills as needed.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise, mentor and inspire care staff.
• Working knowledge related to state and federal regulatory compliance standards (incl. Title 22, HIPAA, OSHA, etc.) and Joint Commission accreditation process.
• Ability to drive to client homes in North County, including occasional evenings/weekends.
• Ability to perform physical tasks: able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull and can lift up to 50 pounds
• Clean background, criminal record, and drug test.
