Responsibilities

Kingwood Pines Hospital is a 116 bed facility located in the beautiful residential Kingwood community. We are located about 30 miles northeast of the Houston Medical Center.

The hospital provides 24-hour emergency services. We serve children, adolescents, and adults for psychiatric and behavioral health.

The hospital also has services in intensive outpatient and partial hospital program services.

Position Summary

• The Intake Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in the process of receiving, scheduling and / or referring inquiry calls;
• assists the Counselors, Coordinators and Director with coordinating assessments, initiating Intake paperwork and insurance information;

working with Admissions Clerk / Receptionist to ensure smooth transition into the admission process.

Job Duties / Responsibilities

• Coordinates and processes patient assessment. Handles Inquiry calls immediately.
• Assures that all required information is placed on the intake form. Facilitate referrals to outpatient services.
• Maintains communication with AHP, physician’s offices and referral sources.
• Other job duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR, Handle With Care and Verbal De-Escalation training (can be obtained on-site upon employment).
• Current TX Driver's License
• Schedule : Monday - Thursday : 5 PM - 9 PM
• Must be available to attend the full hospital orientation : Week 1 : M-F 8 AM - 5 PM
