Brightpoint (formerly known as Children’s Home & Aid) invites you to join our team of mission-driven staff who share a common vision: an equitable world where all children and families thrive in strong communities. As a leader in the human services sector for 140 years, we aim to advance the well-being of children by investing in families and strengthening communities through data-informed, collaborative, and preventative solutions.

The Case Manager for the Butterfly Project will provide case management services to families receiving clinical services, helping them reach their goals, connecting them with community resources, and engaging with the community to increase awareness and access to services. As a Case Manager, you will provide in-home services to families healing from domestic violence and cover multiple counties within central Illinois. The Case Manager will collaborate with case managers, therapists from the Butterfly Project, as well as community partners.

Candidate qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Human Service, or a closely related field required.
  • Experience working with families who have been impacted by violence preferred.
  • Complete 40 hour Domestic Violence training within one year of employment required.
  • Valid driver's license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle required.
  • Bilingual a plus.

Job details:

  • Compensation: Range starts at $16.62/hr; offers are commensurate with experience. Bilingual candidates may receive additional financial compensation.
  • Benefits: Medical/dental/vision insurance, 3 weeks paid time off in the first year including the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day (PTO increases with tenure); 11 paid holidays, supplemental insurance options, 401(k) with match (more benefits details here)
  • Location: Hybrid (remote/on-site/in office), most work will be completed in home-based and community-based settings in multiple counties—McLean, Ford, Livingston, Logan, and Woodford; some opportunities to work from a home location or assigned office (403 South State Street) between in-person meetings and events.
  • Schedule: Full-time, hourly; general business hours with flexibility required for evening and weekend family visits and special events.
  • Student Loan Forgiveness: Brightpoint is an approved agency for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).
