BrightPath Associates is Hiring an EHS Specialist Near Harvey, IL

Your areas of responsibility:

  • The Product Stewardship Specialist works as part of the EHS team and plays a critical role in the information exchange with internal and external customers to ensure safe and proper handling of product portfolio. Specific responsibilities include:
  • Identifying and communicating emerging product safety, environmental, and transportation regulations.
  • Maintaining component hazard and regulatory information.
  • Preparing Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and label text for Company’s products according to the Global Harmonized System.
  • Evaluating products and components against various governmental safety, environmental and transportation regulations.
  • Responding to customer and internal Company product stewardship inquiries.

Qualifications we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, or related technical field required.
  • 8-10 years of relevant product stewardship or chemical regulatory work experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact and communicate professionally with customers.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office required. Experience with SAP a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
