Director Responsibilities:

Overview:

As a Director at Brighton Academy, you will have the opportunity to lead a team that operates in accordance with our school's vision, core values, policies, procedures, and state licensing standards. This role will ensure a safe, educational, and nurturing environment for our children and families, while also placing an emphasis on team development for our incredible teachers.

Qualifications:

Must meet the director requirements of local licensing agencies and Brighton training requirements.
A degree in Early Childhood Education or a business-related field and at least three years experience in a licensed childcare facility is required.
Previous Director experience in a licensed childcare facility is required.
Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs in connection with the handling of children for the purposes of child safety and potential emergency situations.

Strong organizational and planning abilities

Responsibilities:

Provides superior customer service to all internal and external customers
Orients, trains, and evaluates all staff in accordance with Brighton Academy standards
Attends all campus special events
Keeps school physically well-kept, attractive and safe.
Maintain adherence to all state licensing standards
Ability to perform all of the essential functions for each position in the school, including but not limited to, other Leadership positions, classroom positions, food service, or administrative positions.
