Delivery Driver / Courier Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to join our team as a Delivery Driver / Courier.
The primary responsibility of this role is to transport mail and related materials to various office locations within the MD, DC, VA area.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, a strong work ethic, and exceptional customer service abilities.
Details : First shift, Monday through Friday Full-time, 40 hours per week Benefits including paid time off, holidays, insurance (medical / dental / vision), and 401k with a company match.
Hourly compensation starting at $22.00 per hour. Position based in Odenton, MD. Requirements : Must have a current Driver’s License and a clean driving record (No points).
Minimum of one-year professional experience as a Delivery Driver / Courier. This position calls for a high attention to detail which allows for accuracy of inbound and outbound mail processing.
Must be able to lift and / or pull / push objects up to 70lbs daily. High School Diploma or GED preferred. Essential Delivery Driver / Courier Duties : Safely operate a delivery van or truck to transport mail and various goods to designated locations.
Perform various pick-ups and deliveries within MD, DC, VA area. Retrieval and delivery of mail as well as the loading and unloading of the vehicle.
No mail may be left in the vehicle overnight. Report any accidents, incidents, or vehicle issues to management immediately.
License : DOT Medical Card (Preferred) Driver License (Required) Work authorization : United States (Required) Please note : This position will require successful completion of background check, driver record check, DOT physical, and drug screen.
