Duties: 

• Provide essential daily patient care including bathing, dressing, meal assistance, and mobility help.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to document patient care activities and observations.
• Support patients with rehabilitative activities under the guidance of a physiotherapist or occupational therapist.
• Check and record vital signs like pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, and respiration rate.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment that leverages patients' independence and comfort.
• Respond promptly and tactfully to patient calls, anticipating their needs, and addressing their concerns.
• Participate in patient care planning, prognosis discussions, and discharge planning with the supervising nurse and care team.
• Adhere to the professional, ethical, and legal regulations set by the nursing profession and the state board.

Qualifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to use electronic health record software.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team.
• Demonstrable passion for supporting others, shown via respect, empathy, and understanding.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proof of COVID vaccination
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• 18 years old and above
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
