Position Description:
We are seeking Certified HHAs / Licensed CNAs / or those who are interested in becoming a CNAAs a CNA, you're primarily responsible for helping residents of all ages perform the most basic daily tasks, such as eating, bathing, grooming, toileting, and moving. You will work under a licensed nurse’s supervision. You will play a key role in the lives of our residents and in keeping the nurse up to date on vital information about the residents’ conditions.
Essential Job Functions:

• Communicate effectively, both verbal and written.
• Provide compassionate care and assistance to residents.
• Treat all residents, family members, team members and other visitors with respect at all times.
• Take a resident’s blood pressure, pulse, and temperature. Record data and report to a supervisor to determine whether action is necessary.
• Ensures that residents receive appropriate diets by reviewing their dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences.
• Assist in the maintenance of a clean, tidy, and safe environment by reporting environmental improvements to the supervisor.
• Must be able to work in a team environment to effectively deliver the care and assistance to residents and staff.
• Completes other assignments as requested and assigned by the supervisor.
• Must be able to safely move residents into beds and wheelchairs when they can’t do so on their own. This may include turning or repositioning residents for comfort and prevention of bedsores.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Complete successfully a background check.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• High level of patience, empathy, and compassion.
• Must be trustworthy, dependable, and caring.
• Effective oral, written, and reading communication skills
• Ability to handle emotional and stressful situations in a professional manner while remaining calm.
