As a Material Handler , you will play a critical role in our supply chain operations by ensuring the efficient movement and storage of materials and products throughout our facilities. You will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials, as well as maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting production activities as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Material Handling: Safely and efficiently load, unload, move, and stack materials and products using manual or powered equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. Follow proper handling procedures to prevent damage and ensure the integrity of materials and products.
• Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips or purchase orders. Unpack, label, and stock materials in designated storage areas according to established procedures. Perform cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain accurate inventory records in the inventory management system.
• Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and stage materials and products for outgoing shipments based on customer orders, work orders, or shipping instructions. Prepare shipping documents, labels, and packing slips. Ensure that shipments are properly packaged, labeled, and loaded onto trucks for transportation.
• Quality Control: Inspect materials and products for defects, damage, or discrepancies during receiving, storage, and shipping processes. Report any issues or concerns to supervisors or quality assurance personnel and take appropriate corrective actions as necessary.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations, policies, and procedures to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and others. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and participate in safety training programs. Comply with company policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements related to material handling and storage operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a material handler, warehouse associate, or similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of material handling equipment and techniques.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow written instructions and procedures.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail for accurate inventory management.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy objects.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
