Job Description

Brightfire is seeking a Operations Analyst to join our team. This vital role sits at the nexus of data and operations, focusing on maximizing profitability through insightful analytics. The ideal candidate will be adept at identifying key problems, collaborating with development and operations teams to design and implement effective solutions, and working independently to drive profit. This is the chance to step into an organization that lives and breathes data, and to build out analytics as a formal discipline.

Responsibilities

• Identify highest-profit-generating business goals; work both independently and with engineering & operations teams to execute them
• Drive profit growth via data analysis, business development, stakeholder management, and copy/creative improvement
• Monitor daily flow of various KPIs; identify and fix errors quickly and in real-time
• Design and run multiple concurrent A|B split tests; identify & implement key profit-generating takeaways
• Assist with standard business processes (e.g. invoicing, etc.)

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Finance, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field
• Extensive experience in analytics, preferably in a technology or marketing-focused company
• Strong proficiency in Excel and/or data analysis tools and software
• Proven track record of translating data insights into successful operational strategies
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead a team and collaborate across departments
