As a Mental Health Technician, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals with mental health conditions. Your duties will include:
- Conducting crisis interventions and providing emotional support to individuals in distress
- Assisting with the care and treatment of individuals with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
- Collecting and documenting data on patient behaviors and progress
- Implementing behavior management techniques to promote positive outcomes
- Providing counseling and support to individuals struggling with behavioral problems
- Utilizing your experience working with children to provide appropriate care and support

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Crisis intervention: Ability to effectively respond to crisis situations and provide immediate support
- PTSD care: Knowledge of treatment strategies for individuals with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
- Social work: Understanding of social work principles and ability to collaborate with social workers on treatment plans
- Data collection: Ability to collect, record, and analyze data related to patient behaviors and progress
