Overview:
We are seeking a reliable RN Supervisor to join our team in a home healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong home care background and leadership skills to oversee patient care, personnel files and client records effectively. Experience with NC DHSR Licensure Rules and Regulations needed. Must also be knowledgeable with North Carolina Medicaid requirements as it pertains to Home Care. This is a part-time position, but will require you to be available between 15 to 20 hours a week. The ideal candidate will need to be available at least two days a week. Said candidate would need to work at least one of those days during the work week, with the option to work the second day on a Saturday or Sunday.
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate in-home aide caregivers
- Conduct quarterly client reviews
- Manage patient admissions and discharges
- Ensure compliance with home care regulations and protocols
- Conduct staff orientation and skill assessments
- Oversee the upkeep of client and personnel files
Experience:
- Previous experience in a homecare supervisory role
- Proficient in documentation and maintaining accurate records
- Experience being a team leader and team player
- Familiarity with managing and overseeing multiple staff members
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
