Job duties include, but not limited to, the following:

- Responsible for the daily activity and supervision of residents.

- Participation in orientation, alternatives to restrain training, and ongoing training.

- Maintain ongoing case notes that are relevant to the resident’s service plan goals and behavior.

- Collaborate with the resident’s case worker and other professionals involved with providing services to the residents.

- Provide updates and documentation to the Group Home Manager regarding the resident’s progress toward goals.

- Provide training to youth to include, but not limited to, personal hygiene, independent living skills, budgeting, cooking, self-care, communication, social skills, recreational skills, and vocational skills.

- Attend mandatory staff meetings and service plan meetings.

- Responsible to lead by example and act as a positive role model to residents.

- Active participation in resident group counseling.

- Positive communication skills.

- Timely reporting to work.

- Appropriate dress code.

- Building de-escalation skills.

- The ability to not take actions of residents personally.

- Ensure that residents are adhering to house rules and schedules.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
