We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Child Care Director to oversee the operations of our child care facility. As the Child Care Director, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for children, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with all licensing regulations. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for early childhood education.

Requirements

• Child Development Associate Degree (CDA) or higher
• Valid Child Care Administrator's Credential (Non-expiring Prefered)
• Experience as a Director in a TRS-Certified Program or TWC Recognized Nationally Accredited Program
• Years’ experience in classrooms of all age groups
• Years' experience in managing larger center (150 students)
• Evidence of leadership or management in past employment
• Developing strong relationships with our children and families through excellent verbal and written communication, family involvement and positive interactions
• Demonstrate highly effective organizational, time management and multitasking skills
• Demonstrate a complete mastery of the regulatory environment, including compliance, licensor relationship and have the ability to adapt to regulatory changes
• Demonstrate proficiency with a Child Care software like Procare or Brightwheel
• Computer experience with Word & Excel
• Organization and professionalism is a must
• Minimum of 5 years experience as preschool management
• Bi-lingual communication skills preferred
