Position: SHIPPING/RECEIVING ASSOCIATE Reports To: PRODUCTION MANAGER
Department: SHIPPING/RECEIVING Supervises: Individual Contributor
Classification: Non-Exempt Salary: DOE
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Verify counts of parts from vendors and parts going to inventory
- Receive parts from vendors in our ERP system
- Prepare and package completed items securely to ship to customers
- Print labels and affix to appropriate boxes/parts
- Build and assemble crates for heavy parts
- Manage Shipping supplies inventory
- Write inventory cards for excess material
- Organize shipping area for maximum efficiency
- Perform all work to meet quality and safety standards and procedures

- Knowledge of power-tools (specifically drills)
- Computer skill with a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Able to follow instructions
- Quick learner
- Ability to lift 30-50 lbs.
- Adaptability - changes approach or method to best fit the situation.
- Problem Solving –develops alternative solutions.
- Work independently and as a team harmoniously.
- Detail oriented – ensures quality, error free work.
- Deadline driven – prioritizes work and manages time to ensure deadlines are met.
