Job Description:Will be supporting Back Up Care team (classified as Customer Care Specialist)Work with a number of client companies (these are employees of the clients that they partner with)Will be taking inbound calls from employees at their client and/or placing outbound calls to internal networks (child care centers or in home option) to help find a solution while they continue to work their normal day (will not be doing both / these two teams do not communicate except for internal notes in CRM)If someone works at Microsoft and has a regular child care provider that isn't going to make it on a given day (i.e. facility closed for an event, babysitter on vacation/sick, etc.), they will reach out to Bright Horizons to find a solution for child careThe goal is to have the employee still be able to go to work and earn their pay check/hours for that dayQualifications:Minimum 1-year customer service, help-desk, and/or call center backgroundExcellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to document content of phone conversations accuratelyExceptional organizational and time management skills, in addition to, the ability to work closely with other team members and departmentsTyping proficiencies of 35 wpm/and above average data entry skills preferredProficient in basic Microsoft Outlook and basic computer skills (copy, paste, etc.)Ability and willingness to learn and gain proficiency in new software systemsAbility to determine needs of the caller and obtain necessary information without following a scripted processAbout TEKsystems:We're partners in transformation.
