Bright Horizons Children's Centers is Hiring a Child Care Young Preschool Teacher -L.I.C $2K Hiring Incentive Near Long Island, NY

We are currently offering a $2,000 Hiring Incentive for all Qualified Teachers.

$2,000 Hiring incentive paid after 100 days of employment.

Child Care Teacher

Our competitive Teacher salaries range from$22.30-$28.10 per hour. Salary is determined by your level of education and experience in Early Childhood Education or a related field.

Full-time positions now available with youngpreschoolers.

As a Child Care Teacher, you will:

  • Create and lead activities based on your observations of the children's interests and needs.

  • Communicate daily with parents. Document and share the important milestones in their child's day.

  • Keep the classroom safe and clean by following important procedures and guidelines.

Requirements:

Candidates must be 18 years of age, pass required state and company background checks.

Education Requirements:

  • Child Psychology, with 12 credits specific to Early Childhood

  • Child Development, with 12 credits specific to Early Childhood

  • General Education, with 12 credits specific to Early Childhood

  • Elementary Education

  • N-6 Elementary Education

  • Special Education, Students with Disabilities (B-2) or Students with Disabilities (1-6) ORNYS Certifications in the areas below are acceptable:

  • Nursery - 6thGrade

  • Early Childhood (Birth - 2ndGrade)

  • Childhood Education (Grades 1-6)

  • Special Education-N-12thGrade

  • Students with Disabilities Birth - 2ndGrade

  • Students with Disabilities 1st-6thGrade

  • Pre-K - 2ndGrade

Compensation Range: $24.30-$28.10 /hr
