We are looking for a dynamic Ultrasound Technologist who is comfortable working independently and travelling to various clinic locations in Broward County. The ideal candidate will enjoy patient interaction and be able to explain the procedures to the patients and address any concerns they may have.

Other responsibilities include:

• Performs diagnostic procedures applying prescribed methods of ultrasound technique.
• Produces diagnostic images using Doppler.
• Selects transducer and adjusts equipment controls according to organ to be examined, depth of field and other specifications of test.
• Maintains equipment according to manufacturer's requirements and industry standards, at least once a month.
• Performs diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment in various modes and techniques to locate, evaluate and record pertinent anatomical, pathological and functional data.

Qualifications:

Registered as a Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Vascular Technologist (RVT) by The American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS or registered as a Technologist (RT) or registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or registered as a Cardiac Sonographer (RCS), Registered Vascular Sonography (RVS) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
