Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Crew Member to join our team. As a Crew Member, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to landscaping, lawn care, and general outdoor maintenance. This is a hands-on position that requires physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions. You must have a positive, can-do attitude, be an eager learner, be conscious of safety requirements, work effectively as a team member, dress appropriately, be punctual, and follow all instructions given by the Foreman or Crew Leader.

Daily Duties:
A. Perform mowing and trimming of lawns using appropriate equipment
B. Use hand tools to perform tasks such as tree trimming, digging, and planting
C. Provide general maintenance and upkeep of outdoor areas
D. Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
E. Assist with snow plowing during winter months

Responsibilities:

A. Follows all instructions given by the Maintenance Foreman or Leadman.

B. Thoroughly understands and complies with company policy and safety manual.

C. Reports any/all unsafe conditions or accidents.

D. Properly and safely operate equipment.

E. Works in a safe manner and reports any/all unsafe conditions to foreman and/or supervisors.

F. Reports to work on time.

G. Is a willing learner who seeks to master the basic skills of landscape maintenance.

H. Reports to work in a clean, appropriate uniform and wearing the appropriate boots.

I. Able to communicate with supervisor in a timely and thorough manner.

J. Completes assigned tasks efficiently, thoroughly, and per company production rates.

K. Continuing education requirement: minimum of 5 hours per year.

Skill set and educational requirements:

A. No previous landscape maintenance experience needed.

B. Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.

C. Possess a clean driver’s license and must be insurable on company’s insurance policy.

D. Have a clean criminal record.

E. Legal documentation to verify employment eligibility.

F. Physically able to handle the workload of a Maintenance Leadman or Laborer.

G. Have full range of mobility in upper and lower body.

H. Able to lift 50 pounds without assistance.

I. Have reliable transportation to/from work.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 55 per week
