Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our team. As an Infant Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young children and providing them with a solid foundation for their educational journey. Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote learning and development
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all students
- Provide individualized attention and support to meet the unique needs of each child
- Maintain open communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and enriching educational experience
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to engage children in play
- Prepare materials, resources, and learning aids for daily lessons
- Supervise children during indoor/outdoor playtime, meals, and rest periods
- Administer basic first aid when necessary
- Assist children with eating
-Changing diapers is a must
Experience:
- Previous experience working with infant children is preferred
- Familiarity with childhood development principles and best practices
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with young children
- Knowledge of age-appropriate educational activities and resources
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; EDU 119 preferred, but must have within 6 months of hire date
