Per Diem Technical Research Assistant I DOM Channing

• Prepare tissue specimens with an interdisciplinary team for their documentation through a series of steps which include scanning, labeling, and documentation.

• Develop tumor pathology accessioning and database networks for the clear and concise collection of data from tumor samples.

• Summarize and communicate experimental design and results with the investigators, demonstrate intellectual curiosity and desire for continuous learning, be dedicated to employment of best laboratory practices and scientific methodology and assist with subsequent data analyses in the project.

1) BS or BA required; preferably in Biological Science.

2) Experience with molecular cloning, PCR, cell culture and transfection is desirable.

3) Experience with accessioning of biospecimens and associated documentation
including but not limited to coding, anonymization, triaging of paperwork and
biospecimens for internal processing.
