Part-Time Clinical Psychologist Faculty Opportunity

The Department of Psychiatry at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, an academic teaching hospital and affiliate of Harvard Medical School, is seeking a part-time clinical psychologist with expertise in evidence-based psychotherapy treatments of mood, trauma, and/or anxiety disorders. The department provides care to a diverse population of patients with high medical co-presentations and is a major teaching site for the Brigham and Women’s Hospital/ Harvard Medical School Psychology Internship Training Program and Psychiatry Residency Training Program.

We are seeking clinician-scientists who possess outstanding clinical and education skills. Preference for candidates with the ability to assess and treat mood, anxiety, and/or trauma-related disorders, and a strong background in cognitive- behavioral and “third-wave” theory and treatment (e.g., DBT, ACT, CPT, TF-CBT). Responsibilities will include ambulatory clinical care and teaching/training/supervision.

Applicants must have completed an APA-accredited doctoral program in clinical psychology, an APA-accredited internship, and be licensed in Massachusetts (or license eligible). Academic rank at Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training, and achievements.
