POSITION PURPOSE:The Manager, Region Rental provides a broad range of rental support within the assigned business, to include management of rental assets, product mix decisions, and execution of the company’s rental initiatives to drive rental growth and profit objectives. Ensures all Briggs Industrial Solutions standards are adhered to and executed consistent with company direction. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:Partner with the General Manager and local leadership to develop business plans, strategies, and programs to achieve targeted rental performance by driving utilization and profitabilityProvide input on rental key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify gaps to create action plans, as neededSupport the hiring process for identified operational positions by interviewing and providing input on hiring recommendations Provide rental training and direct feedback to team members to ensure they are retaining the required skills for ongoing development, growth, and successSupport the design and implementation of policies and procedures that will continually improve the company’s operational performancePartner with operational leaders and Rental Asset Manager to determine rental equipment inventory levels Maintain accurate contract records, to include active contracts, pickups, and timely billing in alignment with audit standards Partner with Service Department on rental equipment service records and scheduling to keep inventory in acceptable operational conditionOversee the delivery process for sales, service, and rental assetsSupport in operational assessments and audits of field locations and provide feedback to local / region leadership to continually drive operational excellence Partner with sales department to identify and expand rental opportunities and address concernsPerform other related duties as assigned minimum qualifications Basic Knowledge & Competencies:Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to identify root cause of problems and implement corrective action Highly organized; able to maintain accurate and detailed reports Ability to work with multiple users at all levels of the organization Ability to work with minimal supervisionBroad exposure to blended learning approaches Demonstrated ability to develop processes and proceduresStrong financial acumen, including cognitive skills, problem analysis, decision making and quantitative analysisAbility to assess rental market patterns and adjust focus accordinglyProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and database management tools Previous Experience/Education:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required 3 years’ experience in supervisory role preferred5 years of experience in a rental business with profit and loss responsibility preferredAnalytical and decisive decision maker with the ability to prioritize and communicate key objectives and actions to achieve organizational goals PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSStanding, walking, lifting, twisting, and bending on a frequent basis Ability to lift up to 40 poundsUp to 50% travel required
