Job Summary:

At Brigade Fire Solutions we inspect, service and install fire protection systems in Houston and surrounding areas. We ensure that our customers are protected 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. With over 25 Years of industry experience, we are currently seeking Qualified, Licensed Fire Alarm Technicians to perform inspections within our growing portfolio.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Inspect fire protection systems in accordance with NFPA codes. Have working knowledge of alarm panels, devices and components.
• You will need to communicate with internal and external customers as well as offsite monitoring companies.
• Proper use and operation of tools required to complete Fire alarm inspections
• Perform service calls in a timely manner and efficiently.
• Record and report deficiencies of fire protection systems to customers.
• Understand and follow BFS’s Safety program, SDS book, Hazardous communication program, policies, and procedures.
• Training in all areas of Fire Alarm.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Entry-Level applicants are welcome to apply
• Applicants should have, at the minimum, a Texas Fire Alarm License (FAL) or Fire Alarm NICET Lvl 1 or equivalent certification (or higher).
• Be willing to take direction and complete necessary documentation for all jobs or company related requirements.
• Be able to work with other employee's and subs to maintain a good working relationship in order to efficiently schedule needed work.
• Be able to establish a good relationship with new and existing customers and maintain good communication.
• Be proficient in hand tools as well as all other trade specific tools and equipment.
• Be organized, reliable, motivated and self-sufficient.

Pay: $17.00 - $30.00 per hour
