Mental Health Consultant Aide

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Complete Social/Emotional Screening (DECA-C/ASQ-SE)
• Provide accurate, concise, and concurrent documentation according to program procedures and policies in EHR
• Facilitate SEL small groups
• Conduct individual and group observations
• Participate in multi-disciplinary quality and service improvement teams
• Responsible for working between multi-school sites
• Contribute to the planning of therapeutic interventions and strategies
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Attend and participate in scheduled meetings
• Navigate resources in the community
• Form strong connections with integral support systems
• Collaborate with Clinical team to develop action plans
• Participate in team meetings, in-services, and clinical supervision
• Uphold the Professional Code of Ethics
• Responsible for personal development to ensure current knowledge in the profession
• Adhere to and support agency policies, programs and activities
• Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean and drug free environment

• Ability to implement therapeutic interventions
• Good communication skills, written and verbal
• Able to deal constructively with conflict
• Ability to plan, coordinate and direct varied and complex operations

Employment Requirements:

Experience:

• At least 1 year working with minors in a school or outpatient setting
• Reliable Transportation

Education:

• Bachelors and/or Masters in Social Work, Counseling and/or Psychology (Required)

Mental Demands: Ability to give, receive and analyze information, navigate resources, prepare written materials and articulate goals and action plans. Must understand people from all walks of life and be able to communicate effectively with them.

Pay: $31,200.00 - $41,600.00 per year
