BridgeWorks Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Construction Assistant to join an established concrete company in Greenville, SC.

This position primarily focuses on general housekeeping, waste disposal, and assisting with formwork preparation and concrete placement under the direction of our experienced construction team.

Rate of Pay :

$17 / hour (Depending on experience)

Schedule :

TUESDAY-FRIDAY (Off on MONDAYS)

2 : 00 AM until

These are usually 10 to12-hour shifts.

Must Haves :

Hard hat, safety vest, steel toe shoes or boots, and safety glasses for INTERVIEW .

Responsibilities :

• Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness and organization on the construction site
• Dispose of waste and debris in designated areas
• Collect and prepare materials as directed by supervisors, ensuring they are readily available for construction activities
• Assist in preparing and cleaning formwork for concrete pours, following specific instructions and safety protocols
• Place items in formwork as needed, assisting with the setup and arrangement of materials according to project requirements
• Support construction activities by assisting with tasks such as raking, screeding, and leveling concrete under the guidance of experienced team members
• Adhere strictly to all company policies and OSHA safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others

• Ability to follow directions and work effectively under the supervision of experienced construction personnel
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment
• Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials as needed
• Willingness to learn and assist with various construction tasks, including formwork preparation and concrete placement
• Compliance with all safety rules and regulations, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential hazards
• Dependability and punctuality, with the ability to work efficiently as part of a team
