Department: BCIS SUD PEER Program - Hudson

Salary: $55,000

Location: Hoboken, NJ

Work hours: Full-time 40-hour position with one weekend day and at least one evening required. Schedule to be determined.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

As part of a multi-disciplinary, core services team, provides on-site direct recovery oriented services and case management to people who are experiencing a mental health crisis or a worsening of a pre-existing mental health or co-occurring disorder inclusive of substance abuse and/or medical disorders. This position provides individual and group recovery focused interventions and case management linkage to a vast array of community service providers.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • AA in a social service discipline
  • Two years post degree experience providing case management services to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis or a worsening of a pre-existing mental health disorder, psychiatric rehabilitation experience preferred.
  • Must have lived experience with mental health or co-occurring disorders. CPRP preferred, discharged veterans given preference.
  • Bilingual Spanish a plus
  • Valid driver's license required
