POSTING
CLINICAL RBT EARLY INTERVENTION
The Bridgeway Therapy Center is seeking a full time Clinical RBT who will provide ABA services focused on early intervention and foundational skill-building within a clinical setting.
Position Summary is as follows:
The role of the Clinical Team Technician is to provide individualized applied behavior analytic services to client’s ages 18 months- 5 years old, within Bridgeway Therapy Center’s ABA Clinic. This includes the implementation of a treatment plan developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), addressing behavior change and skill acquisition goals. The clinical team technician will also monitor the progress and work closely with the Clinical Supervisor and Director to update treatment plans as necessary. The clinical team technician will also adhere to ongoing review, and measurement of program and service applications to comply with regulations, policies, procedures and standards set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. The clinical team technician will work under close supervision and guidance of a BCBA to implement interventions for individuals on the autism spectrum and other developmental disabilities. This position operates on a clinical schedule of 46.5 weeks per calendar year.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Deliver ABA therapy in a 1:1 or small group format
  • Accurately implement skill acquisition programs, behavior reduction plans, behavior protocols, and/or behavior support plans
  • Maintain precise client progress records, which may include data sheets, graphs, daily notes, anecdotal records, etc.
  • Accurately collect data (paper and/or electronically) on target behaviors specific to the client’s skill acquisition programming
  • Maintain detailed records of client progress and services rendered
  • Complete timely and thorough session notes as expected
  • Maintain a safe, clean, stimulating, and fun environment for the client
  • Collaborate with professionals on the client treatment team as needed regarding client updates, progress, behavioral concerns, etc.
  • Implement ABA intervention in line with the BACB ethical guidelines
  • Participate in initial and ongoing staff trainings as assigned, as well as commit to continued learning and performance improvement
  • Report changes in client condition to supervisor
  • Assists with Activities of Daily Living (toileting, feeding, hygiene, etc.), when needed
  • Attends client specific meetings and trainings
  • Provides important information regarding the client to facilitate appropriate case management and collaboration
  • Actively participates in supervision with the supervising BCBA
  • Participates in both individual and group supervision
  • Adheres to the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) RBT Code of Ethics
  • Must already possess or be working towards the credential as an RBT, BCaBA or BCBA
  • Must take and pass RBT exam within 60 days of hire
  • Functions and/or provides services with an awareness, sensitivity and understanding of cultural differences, similarities and abilities
  • Provide high quality customer service

Qualifications/Abilities:
  • A High School Diploma or GED Required. A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Psychology or related field preferred. Must already possess, or be working toward credentials to become a BCaBA, BCBA or RBT.
  • Excellent attendance records.
  • Knowledge of child development theories and practices, implement and evaluation
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and procedures to ensure that children are supervised and safe at all times
  • General knowledge of developmental milestones.
  • Experience in and understanding of the field of autism and ABA
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and structure a program environment
  • Effective communication with appropriate verbal, non-verbal, written, and listening skills
  • Able to promote a positive work environment and acts as a role model to staff, promoting professionalism and enthusiasm
  • Ability to give constructive feedback
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Ability to meet or exceed deadlines with a professional work product
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with all types of people.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with volunteers, staff, and Board members, community groups, and others.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
  • Able to maintain calm and assist during crisis situations
RELATIONSHIPS:
Internal: Maintain verbal and written contact with Executive Directors and direct supervisory staff regarding concerns about the ABA Clinic
External: Maintain verbal and written positive contact with parents and other professionals in the community).
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Valid State Driver’s License
RBT, BCaBA, or BCBA
High School Diploma
This position requires a valid state driver’s license and insurable driving record, and requires successful completion of an ODJFS, BCI and FBI background screening.
