Bridgewater Consulting Group is Hiring a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt - 1220 (No Corp - Corp, W2 only) Near San Antonio, TX

Position: 1220 – Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
Location: Hybrid - San Antonio Texas 78215

The Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB) is responsible for driving enterprise strategic initiatives, objectives, and projects thorough the use of Lean and Hoshin Kanri (Strategy Deployment) methods. A LSSBB will analyze business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business approaches for client. The ideal candidate will need a high degree of strategic and business focus with the ability to identify interdependencies between processing workflows. They will have the ability to identify gaps in existing processes and offer solutions to replace manual and outdated way of working to ensure achievement of business goals. The LSSBB will work with senior leadership and facilitate the development of annual strategic plans, at all levels, that align with client’s long-term vision and multi-year strategies. Drive the adoption of the Hoshin Kanri approach to strategy deployment across the organization from senior leadership to front-line employees to enable the realization of strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive enterprise strategic initiatives, objectives, and projects thorough the use of Lean and Hoshin Kanri (Strategy Deployment) methods
  • Facilitate the development of annual strategic plans, at all levels, that aligns with client’s long-term vision and multi-year strategies
  • Drive the adoption of the Hoshin Kanri approach to strategy deployment across the organization from senior leadership to front-line employees to enable the realization of strategic objectives
  • Lead and facilitate strategic, high impact process improvement projects utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodology, tools and techniques to drive meaningful business improvement
  • Apply Lean Six Sigma tools, techniques, and methodologies such as strategic gap analysis, lean, Kaizen events for organizational process improvements.
  • Mobilize and lead process improvement, root cause analysis and/or Kaizen teams to drive organizational change, deliver value, facilitate partnerships, identify and eliminate defects, errors and variation, and acquire measurable process and financial benefits.
  • Facilitate Value Stream Mapping and Value Analysis (Current and Future State Value Stream Mapping, Value Analysis).
  • Prioritize resources and leverage leaders to effect change and sustain results in a variety of environments.
  • Manage a portfolio of continuous improvement projects and initiatives to achieve target key performance, simplify processes and services, and help deliver value savings.
  • Analyze and identify process improvement opportunities and partner with key stakeholders to scope and ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Present project progress to organization and leadership as needed.
  • Work with Risk , Compliance, Auditing and process improvement experts and other stakeholders to ensure projects achieve intended results, where risks are proactively identified mitigated, and benefits are validated.
  • Leads, coaches, and trains the next generation of improvement specialists from among a team of professionals.
  • Serve as a technical leader in the deployment of the Process Improvement Center of Excellence and build process Six Sigma, LEAN, and basic problem-solving competencies.
  • Review, improve and incorporate best practices in the LEAN, Lean Six Sigma and Hoshin Kanri/Strategy Deployment programs.
  • Builds and provides direction and day-to-day project delivery for the Strategic Initiatives and streams of key transformation programs. Scope may include technical and/or non-technical programs
  • Partners with multi-departmental leadership and other stakeholders to ensure deployment of strategic initiatives and objectives, locate opportunities and develop and prioritize projects according to relevant measurement criteria
  • Collaborates with stakeholder group to deliver targeted strategic solutions on time and in budget
  • Builds consensus and finds creative solutions to issues to maintain momentum and deliver on tight timelines
  • Maintains extensive knowledge of business analysis standards, processes, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the industry project management best practices, i.e., Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and Agile certification
  • Knowledge of standards relevant to the software industry, e.g., ISO, CMM, Six Sigma, Lean
  • Ensure the success of end-to-end process improvement initiatives across our organization
  • Use systematic data driven methods to assess, analyze, identify, and solve problems by suggesting improvements and optimization through processes automation.
  • Ability to set clear expectations, manage team performance and build high morale among team members.
  • Experience driving global transformation programs and optimization projects from initiation to closure with Black/Green Belt in reputed global financial and technology organizations.
  • Lead teams of cross-functional business partners to effectively determine the scope of improvement effort and business impact.
  • Coach team members to identify possible solutions and evaluate alternative courses of action and facilitates the process to resolve differing views and positions.
  • Manage the impact of change on operational areas staff and customers/vendors.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems or Computer Science, another related field or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with process improvement at the Black Belt level of performance
  • Lean Six Sigma or Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
  • Must have 5 years of experience:
  • Ability to document processes and capture pain points.
  • Facilitation skills
  • HR experience
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
  • Microsoft Visio and Suite experience

Preferred:

  • Experience leading process improvement efforts focused on service, financial, or manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of various types of IT project methodologies and life cycles, e.g., conversions, incremental, rapid delivery, classic or traditional waterfall phases of analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and the correct project application
  • Experience with ITIL and Agile project management
  • Strong Finance and Audit background and project experience
  • Ability to project manage and work independently across one or more active improvements
  • Ability to quantify the impact to process metrics and financials
  • Ability to comprehend new technology strengths and weaknesses to effectively match technology to possible business solutions
  • Ability to express information through strong verbal and written communications
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft suites of office products, specifically MS Project and Visio
  • Possess highly developed problem-solving skills
  • Ability to analyze complex data to draw supportable conclusions and recommendations
  • Previous experience in consulting with clients (internal/external)
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, and highly driven, with the desire to learn our business
  • Ability to solve problems by implementing creative solutions
  • Disciplined & organized, but flexible to meet the needs of the improvement effort
  • Ability to understand business processes and systems impact
  • Ability to successfully interface with all levels and areas of the organization and establish close working relationships
